issuing of licences to private security companies

The Private Security Guard Companies Authority was established in May 2011, by an Act of parliament as the mandatory office that should register ,monitor and screen all Private security companies and their employees operating in The Gambia . The office is under the purview of the Ministry of Interior and discharges other functions and roles as the Minister of Interior may assign to it. Since then the office came up with a standard requirement for all the private security companies to abide by before they are granted approval to operate by the Hon. Minister of Interior.
